Wills & Co Answers Funding Gap For Smaller Companies

Wills & Co has just concluded an online opinion survey about smaller quoted companies and their need for funding, with some interesting findings.

For example, nearly all the companies who responded have a regular need to raise new funds, most of them in sums of more than £1 million at a time.

OVERNIGHT NEWS:
Crude oil prices eased back yesterday, at one point coming close to $120 a barrel, and this helped US equity markets to post decent gains. Technology stocks led the way higher with the NASDAQ putting on 1.5% as investors felt comfortable moving into riskier assets. Despite the pull back in crude prices energy stocks still moved higher on the back of broker upgrades.
Oil traded a low of $120.75 a barrel yesterday and this has led to more speculative money flowing in to the black stuff overnight in Asia.
